Felt pen colouring

Felt pens have a good opacity but unfortunately you often can't make an even surface. With a bit practice and skill you may use the stripes for your aims (e.g. metal reflections or the red belt)

Coloured crayon

Colouring with crayons gives the objects a texture which can be combined with a frottage.

Acrylic robo

The combination of blazing colours with ink often causes strong effects. Unfortunately my acrylic colours seem to be quite old, so I wasn't able to paint an even blue surface. I guess I have to buy some new tubes...
